Raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, New York City is where Charlie Shipley has always wanted to be. Growing up, he immersed himself in media and pop culture, eventually becoming a journalist, and covering several newsworthy events, including a hometown visit by former President Barack Obama and Occupy Wall Street. Now he focuses on his passion for music writing and expanding his horizons through listening to a variety of artists new and old.
