Kamakura Radio

The program takes its name from Kamakura, a coastal town on Sagami Bay, just south of Tokyo. Kamakura offers an hour away from the noise and compression of daily life. It’s a space to listen carefully, to sit with music shaped in a slower era of production. You might imagine the bay in the background, surfers moving steadily across the water and a city already resembling the faded tones of an old postcard.
