August 9th, 2025 - Mattley Fest: Benefit for Mattley Mountain
“Mattley Fest”, which is happening at The Gutter Brooklyn Spare Room on August 9th, has added King Missile (Dog Fly Religion) to its all-day lineup.
Radio Free Brooklyn will stream the event live via https://rfb2.nyc. The full day of music will also include Eat, Band Antenna, Nuclear Family Fantasy, The Live Ones, Tough Darling, Nite Music, Silver Relics, W40R35, Ghost of Past Mistakes, and Hostile Class.
Mattley Mountain is the bass player in Haunted Horses NYC, and has played in other acts. As DJ Udon Lipsmack, he has been the regular Friday DJ at Iona in Williamsburg for many years. His absence on the Williamsburg scene has been noticed by many.
He said in a statement describing his condition, "Late March, I had severe pain. It got bad enough to go to the hospital. After 12 hours, I was sent home in the same pain, and a misdiagnosis. 36 hours after that, I was going back to the hospital with severe sepsis, and given a small chance to make it. There was surgery and a 11 day coma before I had passed the worst of it. I left the hospital after 21 days weighing 110 pounds. Now I'm at home recovering under bi-weekly nurse care and I'm dressing my own open abdominal surgical wounds.

King Missile (Dog Fly Religion) will go on earlier than a normal headliner because of prior obligations (approximately 7:00pm - 9:00pm) The show starts at 4pm on Saturday, August 9th at The Gutter Brooklyn.
